Job Summary
Represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges and conduct legal research and writing for pre-hearing brief memorandums and appeals council briefs. Review and develop cases, answer client questions via telephone, mail, and email, and draft appeals council briefs. This entry-level attorney position requires travel to in-person hearings in other cities and states up to 70% of the time. Candidates must hold an attorney license and reside in CA, TX, GA, FL, NV, TN, DC, NC, or SC. A licensed full-time attorney with experience in disability hearings is preferred.
