Job Summary
Junior Assistant Farm Manager at Warakirri Cropping coordinates machinery operations using GPS guidance and digital planning tools, supports precision agriculture activities such as variable rate applications and paddock data capture, ensures accurate recording of operational data in AgWorld for performance tracking, collaborates with the Farm Manager to review efficiency during seeding and harvest, trains and mentors staff in machinery operation and safe modern practices, operates farm machinery for tasks including spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, cartage, and harvest, coordinates with external parties such as contractors and delivery drivers, assists in testing and recording grain quality and safe storage/handling, and fosters a learning environment with a focus on staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Current chemical users’ certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Experience operating large-scale cropping plant and equipment
- Broadacre cropping experience (Senior Farm Hand/Senior Machinery Operator/Leading Hand/2IC)
