Job Summary
Junior Architectural Technician/Technologist needed to join Studio PDP's London office to produce technical drawings and working drawings to a high standard, assist with detailed designs and models and deliver presentations and reports across prime residential, hospitality and offices projects, with focus on retrofit and low energy design, PassivHaus knowledge, and collaboration with architects, technologists and contractors; opportunity to learn within an in-house building physics team and contribute to site inspections, quality control and project requirements discussions, using Revit, NBS specifications, and standard software while aligning with UK regulations and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- UK recognised BA/BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology, HNC, HND or equivalent
- Ability to produce detailed drawings
- Understanding of low energy design
- PassivHaus knowledge
- Experience/knowledge of retrofit
- Skilled in Revit and fluent in Microsoft and Adobe
- Knowledge of Fire Safety regulations
- Construction knowledge
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong design and drawing skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to wider practice groups and activities
