Job Summary
Junior Application Developer – SWE Assistant (part-time for students) at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia in Košice region. Responsible for developing and maintaining source code in Java, TypeScript, Python or related languages to automate business processes. Works in project teams on tasks such as GUI front end, DB back end, import scripts, and reporting services, with potential mentorship from a senior developer. Tasks include listening to user requests, gathering requirements, analyzing basic customer requirements, designing and implementing application functionality, providing estimates and timelines, testing before deployment, applying basic security concepts, writing/updating technical documentation, communicating status to managers/customers, and supporting 2nd/3rd level maintenance. Technologies sought include Java (Spring Boot), Angular/React/VueJS, Python/SQL, REST APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, Git, cloud technologies, and English proficiency. Remote work is available within Slovakia (hybrid). Salary is negotiable based on seniority and experience, with base salary not lower than 5.50 € brutto; additional benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Are student with specialization in programming language
- Have experience within the field of application programming
- Know technologies and requirements in particular relation to Project position: Dockering / GitLab + source control, Deploying REST-based web services / APIs, Backend - Java, SQL, JSON or Frontend – Angular, React
- Are advanced at Soft skills such as Communication, Analytical thinking, team cooperation
- Speak English at least on B2 level
