Job Summary
Junior Android Software Engineer at TeamViewer who contributes to building user-focused Android applications for enterprise/industrial use. Responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and maintenance of Android apps, writing clean, testable code following guidelines, collaborating with backend/platform teams for integration, implementing new features for the Frontline platform with UX/product teams, participating in code reviews and pair programming, and supporting the full development lifecycle from implementation to release under guidance. The role emphasizes learning modern Android technologies (e.g., Kotlin, Jetpack Compose), gaining experience with coding assistance tools, and working within an international team. Required Qualifications
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in Android development
- Basic knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK; familiarity with Java is a plus
- Understanding of mobile development concepts and willingness to learn modern architectures (e.g., MVVM)
- Initial experience with REST APIs or backend integration is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Interest in testing and debugging mobile applications
- Eagerness to learn, proactive mindset, and strong team collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
