Junior Analyst II Margin Improvement

Job Summary
Coordinate cross-functional work with Supply Chain, Finance, and Purchasing teams to identify and approve new cost reduction ideas, track threats, and develop recommendations for NNA cost minimization. Manage and validate in-house and NSC costs based on competitive FOBs, update COP models to evaluate initiative impacts, and maintain performance tracking reports for KPI reviews. Perform daily maintenance activities for NSC costs, support material development for reviews, and prepare semiannual analysis and business plan submissions reflecting cost and exchange rate impacts. Keep SOP documentation current and assist in developing recommendations for potential cost avoidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline
- Three (with MBA) to five (w/o MBA) or more years of financial, purchasing, and business analysis with knowledge of cost/margin optimization
- Experience in the automotive industry, service parts or high SKU industrial environment
- Superior analytical skills
- Strong abilities to communicate quantitative or analytical findings succinctly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of internal parts systems and parts operations or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and operations
- Thorough computer knowledge to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations
- Excellent Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire

Desired Qualifications
- Technical automotive parts experience
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of Access and Power BI
- Familiarity with Nissan legacy/mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations
- Moderate technical and/or programming experience
