Junior Analyst for Venture Investments

Job Summary
Junior Analyst to support the European investment team with deal flow administration and investment due diligence, screen new companies, participate in global team meetings, and handle ad-hoc tasks. Office presence required 15-20 hours per week in our Copenhagen office with flexibility for study commitments. The role provides exposure to venture capital, biotech and drug development, working alongside an international team of life science investors. Requires ongoing university study in natural life sciences or related fields, fluent English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI tools (Salesforce advantageous).
Required Qualifications
- 3rd year Bachelor’s student or 1st year Master’s student at a university in Denmark within natural life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, biomedical engineering, or similar
- Fluent communication in English – verbal as well as written
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI tools, any experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage
- Record of excellent academic performance
- Basic understanding of drug development and the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated interest in commercial application of scientific research, biotech, entrepreneurship or venture capital
- Basic understanding of finance and venture capital is advantageous, but not a prerequisite
- Sufficient scientific literacy to read primary research literature
- Able to work structured and independently
- Team player who wants to be a part of an international environment
- Excellent analytical skills with the right combination of overview and attention to details
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Intellectually curious, with a passion for science and technology
- Strong communicator in both verbal and written formats
