Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, agents, and automation solutions that integrate with enterprise platforms like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub. Build and enhance AI agents to support Software Development Lifecycle processes, while collaborating with Agile, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Troubleshoot existing AI applications, optimize cloud-based integrations, and contribute to code reviews, testing activities, and CI/CD pipelines. Requires around one year of professional experience in AI Engineering, proficiency in Python, and knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI frameworks. Located in Lisbon with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Around 1 year of professional experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience developing AI-based solutions, automations, or intelligent agents
- Proficiency in Python and solid software development fundamentals
- Experience working with LLMs, AI copilots, or AI-assisted development tools
- Knowledge of software development best practices, testing, and version control (Git)
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and modern software engineering environments
- Understanding of cloud-native applications and AI solution deployment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building enterprise AI agents or agentic workflows
- Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, and AI-powered developer productivity tools
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright
- Experience developing custom applications or integrations for Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of software architecture principles and engineering governance
- Exposure to Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
