Job Summary
Conduct program management for PMS 300/305 Navy Ship Building Program, developing acquisition documents like Acquisition Strategy and Program Baseline. Assist in preparing briefings, attending Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, and R3Bs, and researching responses to action items. Maintain familiarity with DoD 5000 processes and communicate with SES/Flag level personnel. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management, 3+ years in program management, and DoD/DoN contracting experience. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
- 3+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
- 1+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management
- DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
- DoD/DoN contracting
- experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
- development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline)
- supervisory
- ship building experience
- familiar with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition
- be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies
- assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings
- attend meetings and prepare minutes
- research and prepare responses to action items
- U.S. citizenship
