Job Summary
Review inventory sale transactions for accuracy and manage financing of all inventory and rental assets. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile capital assets and rental fleets, calculate salesman commissions, and prepare journal entries to balance sheet accounts at month end. Assist branch personnel with inquiries and requests while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Based in the Surrey office, this role reports to the Controller and requires 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Degree or diploma in Accounting or Business discipline
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Maintain a mindset of growth and curiosity to improve company processes and self
- Strong interpersonal and team working abilities
- Excellent organizational skills showcased through proactive communication and task completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
- Always uphold professionalism internally and externally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Based out of the Surrey office
- Works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Desire to enroll in CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) is considered an asset
