Junior Accountant

Job Summary
Support the Experienced Accountant and Controller in preparing month-end financial statements, processing vendor payments, and reconciling vendor statements to resolve invoice discrepancies. Maintain accurate vendor master data, including banking and tax information, while assisting with detailed analysis of accounts to identify trends and discrepancies. Provide day-to-day support for billing processes and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in accounting workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording and allocation of expenses, and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts payable

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- U.S. GAAP
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting a multi-location and/or multi-entity business
