Job Summary
Independently service an assigned book of small commercial accounts by building relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters while managing renewals, retention, and growth initiatives. Process agency-billed invoicing, prepare carrier submissions, and assist with quote comparisons and coverage analysis. Support Account Executives with proposal preparation, marketing efforts, and new business documentation, including AMS account setup and online rating platforms. Mentor CSR team members, assist with complex account servicing activities, and help balance team workload for priority or escalated requests. Occasional travel required, including quarterly visits to headquarters. Bachelor's degree preferred, P&C license required, four years of commercial insurance experience necessary. Full-time Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Minimum of four (4) years of commercial insurance experience
- Progress toward a professional insurance designation
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and account servicing
- Occasional travel may be required, including an expectation of quarterly visits to the company headquarters in Calabasas, California
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong commitment to client and customer satisfaction
- Ability to make independent decisions and use good judgment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively multitask while reprioritizing work assignments based on business needs
