Job Summary
Consult members in person or over the phone to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. Process consumer loans, open new accounts, and handle cash transactions including receiving and disbursing funds. Maintain accounts by issuing cards, processing changes, closing accounts, and providing notary services. Call reports to garnish business throughout the day and during scheduled call nights. Ensure the branch is in balance, report suspicious activity, and complete required compliance training. Represent the Credit Union professionally while maintaining member confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a similar position
- prior loan experience
- reaching service and performance goals
- Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations, including but not limited to BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D and Regulation E
- Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and all services
- Working knowledge of loan products and associated system(s) (Loans PQ – loans decisioning system)
- Proven ability to garner business
- Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature
- Capable of working under pressure and with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in the operations of a PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good verbal communication (in-person and over the phone), written communication, problem solving, member service, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Successful completion of all compliance related coursework
- NMLS Registered
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
