Job Summary
Drive inventory accuracy and integrity across stores and warehouses by managing allocation, replenishment, transfers, and stock movement. Monitor inventory levels to optimize availability while minimizing overstocks and stockouts, and analyze variances, shrinkage, and discrepancies to implement corrective actions. Develop and monitor KPIs, reports, and processes to reduce inventory losses, oversee store counts and cycle audits, and ensure compliance with control procedures. Analyze sales performance, sell-through, and replenishment requirements to support data-driven decisions, while working with the AS400 system for data analysis and reporting. Prepare actionable insights to improve stock productivity and operational performance, collaborating with Merchandising, Operations, Finance, IT, and external providers to enhance inventory processes and supply chain efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field – mandatory
- Experience in inventory planning, allocation, replenishment, supply chain, logistics analysis, inventory control, or retail operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong experience analyzing inventory data, variances, shrinkage, and operational KPIs
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to identify root causes, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with AS400 is considered an advantage
- Experience with retail planning, inventory management, or ERP systems is considered an asset
