Job Summary
Lead process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues across manufacturing, pilot plant, and capital projects environments. Collaborate with cross-functional departments including research, QA, and validation to develop requirements for complex system modifications and coordinate design engineering projects within schedule and budget constraints. Direct consultants and engineering firms on standard design documents while developing departmental budgets and engineering policies affecting multiple organizational units. Supervise a small staff of engineers, associates, and technicians on an ongoing and project basis, applying advanced engineering techniques to improve equipment reliability and performance. Serve as a peer-recognized specialist determining methodologies in specific engineering areas, with overall responsibility for guiding cross-functional teams including mechanics and automation technicians. Execute protocol development and technical documentation in a highly regulated environment, utilizing English and Spanish communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- +4 years of Engineering experience
- Maintenance knowledge and experience with automated and manual inspection equipment operation
- Technical knowledge of inspection technologies for parenteral and glass containers
- Proven experience applying engineering principles to system modifications, process improvements, and project execution
- Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, performance improvement, and engineering best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including Mechanics, Automation Technicians, and IS personnel
- Basic knowledge with validation and documentation processes in a highly regulated environment
- Protocol Development and execution requirements
- Technical writing and verbal communication on English and Spanish
- First Shift - 6:30am-2:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering preferred
