Job Summary
SR. Maintenance Technician needed to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and continuously improve manufacturing equipment and utility systems in a GMP manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical/biotech). Responsibilities include executing maintenance activities on equipment, conducting intermediate troubleshooting with advanced predictive techniques, maintaining spare parts inventory, performing housekeeping, ensuring compliance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies, maintaining a cGMP training log, developing/reviewing SOPs or work plans, evaluating and optimizing maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and repairing equipment/systems, reviewing P&IDs, supporting new equipment start-up, assisting with validation documents, and supporting on-call responsibilities. Qualifications include an Associate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field, 5+ years’ maintenance experience in regulated manufacturing, experience with fermentation/bioprocessing/utility equipment, PLC/automation experience, RCM and Lean/CI exposure, and technical certifications. Shift is non-standard 2nd/3rd (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM).
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related technical field; or equivalent military/industry experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting fermentation, bioprocessing, utility, and process equipment.
- Knowledge of CIP/SIP systems and sterile manufacturing practices.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) experience.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Technical certification in maintenance, instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
- Non-standard 2nd and 3rd shift (5:00Pm to 5:30 AM)
