Job Summary
Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services by qualifying vendors against company standards and administering a Certified Supplier Program. Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle to resolve supplier-related problems and develop auditing schedules to verify Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Provide Pre-Market Quality Engineering support for New Product Development, defining receiving inspection requirements and test method validation. Collaborate with Component Engineers to deliver product acceptance sampling strategies, Approved Supplier List coordination, and control plans. Travel regularly to visit external Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers. Available for administrative shift in a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (or, for degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A))
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Available for administrative shift
- Hybrid Type position
- For this position is key the availability to travel to visit external Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers
Desired Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of project management is preferred
