JROTC Instructor (Air Force)

Air Force Junior ROTC Instructor needed to teach and lead as part of an 11-month school-year program. Responsibilities include conducting 45- to 90-minute academic classes across up to 4–6 periods per day, leading before/after-school activities and off-campus events (e.g., drill teams, academic clubs, marksmanship teams), and serving as an ambassador of the Air Force while maintaining professional appearance and program standards. Must complete the JROTC Instructor Certification Course (JICC) and fulfill state/local certification requirements. The role requires organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, patience, and ability to work with cadets from diverse backgrounds. Education: bachelor's degree; Certifications: JROTC teaching certificate and fingerprint clearance required. Experience with curriculum planning, Air Force educational programs, and integrating approved interactive learning software/hardware into instruction is expected. This is a full-time teaching position within Gilbert Unified School District (Gilbert High), with duties spanning regular classroom instruction and additional leadership activities throughout the school year.
