Job Summary
JROTC Army Instructor responsible for aiding in development of cadets’ citizenship, leadership, and physical fitness; duties include managing JROTC unit activities, advising on policy, coordinating public affairs, recruiting students, preparing lesson materials, maintaining equipment and records, and ensuring compliance with Army and school regulations. Requires retired Army experience (E6–E9 or W1–W5), an Associate’s degree or foreign equivalent, NC junior ROTC teaching license eligibility, Cadet Command AI certification, and CDL plus NC School Bus certification/license. Work site is Rockingham, NC with in-person duties; role entails collaboration with SAI and school officials, and adherence to applicable AR/ CCR/ JROTC directives.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate’s or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have or be qualified to hold an NC teaching license in Junior ROTC.
- Certified as an AI by Cadet Command.
- Meets Army standards, including clearing of CNACI Background check.
- Must have or be qualified to hold a CDL and North Carolina School Bus certification/license.
