Job Summary
RN – Stepdown role providing patient care using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, coordinating care with other departments, and ensuring adherence to Mercy Service Standards. Requires licensure as an RN in Missouri (or compact licensure), and a nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, or BSN); BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire. 36 hours per week, full-time, with care delivered in a hospital/stepdown setting and a focus on professional accountability and collaboration within the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
- Experience: hospital experience preferred
