Job Summary
Project Executive – Mission Critical leads the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of Rycon Construction projects with accountability for project managers, engineers, and field teams. Oversees client relationships, contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, and financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and forecasts. Develops project strategies, manages risk and contingency planning, ensures compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements, and mentors senior project personnel to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or related field) with 15+ years in construction management, 5+ years in leadership, 3+ years on data center projects, proficiency with Procore/MS Project, and the ability to travel to job sites. The role is based in The Woodlands, TX or Irving, TX with in-person work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- 3 years experience working on Data Centers
- PMP or LEED certifications are a plus
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
- Safety and quality standards compliance
