Jr. Title Officer

Job Summary
The Title Officer/Jr. Title Officer will examine title searches and records to determine clear ownership, prepare preliminary and final title reports and policies, resolve title defects, analyze legal descriptions, researched ownership, taxes, maps, and parcel data, and communicate findings to clients. Travel to courthouses or other locations is required; role supports a development path into a full Title Officer. Requires independent judgment, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and ability to work with internal teams and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Able to pass background and MVR check
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience or familiarity with Title, Escrow, Banking, Real Estate or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn title software
- Ability to work independently and manage time
- Travel to courthouses or locations for research
