Jr/Sr IT Engineer - Data Services (Shift rotation)

Job Summary
Provide L2 support for database operations across incident, request, change, and problem management while participating in 24/7 coverage and major incidents. Install and upgrade database systems, apply patches, and ensure high availability by diagnosing errors and managing access, backups, and security compliance. Monitor performance proactively, analyze cases to prevent recurring issues, and develop operational procedures. Build reports, visualizations, and dashboards, leveraging AI and agentic solutions to automate workflows and improve efficiency. Ensure SLAs for incidents and service requests are met, maintaining targets for breach cases, MTTR, and first-level resolution. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field required; experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Windows, and scripting languages advantageous. Flexible to work day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's degree or equivalent experience Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in the following areas will be advantageous: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Linux and Windows operation systems, programming and scripting languages such as Java, PowerShell and Python
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Flexible to work on day and night shift
