Job Summary
Oversight of daily pricing for American Beacon Mutual Funds and ETFs performed by State Street Bank, including fair value pricing for securities lacking readily available market quotations. Assist the Fair Valuation Committee with research, updates, and pricing recommendations for recurring fair value items, while preparing communication and reporting for quarterly Board of Trustees meetings. Maintain supporting documentation for external auditors and SEC SOX reviews, perform vendor methodology oversight and back testing, and manage Funds' Pricing Procedures and price source authorizations. Liaise with the Fair Valuation Committee, internal departments, and third parties including State Street Bank and external auditors. Hybrid schedule with three days in-office in Irving, Texas; 1–3 years investment experience required; CPA, MBA, or CFA candidate preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years previous investment experience
- College degree required
- Flexibility to work extended hours if necessary
- Hybrid: In office, currently Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday each week, with the option to work from home on Thursday and Friday
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, MBA, and/or CFA candidate preferred
- Team player with strong decision-making skills, capable of driving key initiatives and outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, as well as external service providers and auditors
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, research, and technical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently, work independently, and deliver a variety of tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive and coachable, with a strong eagerness to learn, contribute to the department's goals, and adapt flexibly across multiple projects as needed
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement technology solutions to streamline work processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
