Job Summary
Create and maintain short-term production schedules to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing plans. Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Development, and Value Chain Management teams to balance customer demand, material availability, and equipment capacity. Optimize resource utilization by resolving scheduling conflicts proactively and maintaining accurate planning parameters within the system. Generate and analyze key performance indicators to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement of planning performance. Convert planned orders into process orders while ensuring data accuracy. This role supports the manufacture of life-changing therapies at Lonza's Geleen site, fostering close, real-time collaboration across functions to deliver operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline
- Entry-level experience or knowledge in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Operations, or Manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, define KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience using planning, scheduling, ERP, or manufacturing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to manage priorities and adapt in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred
