Job Summary
Install, test, and commission protective relays, RTUs, and communication equipment while supporting feeder, transformer, and substation system testing. Read wiring diagrams and schematics, assist with SEL and GE relay testing under supervision, and collect field data and test results. Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle while strictly following safety procedures and standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on field training in substation environments across British Columbia for candidates with a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (co-op/internship considered)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar field
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel across BC
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
