Job Summary
Manage multiple teams delivering infrastructure and end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Serve as secondary point of contact to the customer, lead cost report development, contract management, and CDRL generation while supporting status meetings and proposal work. Act as people manager for SMX Space & Intelligence Business Unit employees, overseeing program startup infrastructure and ensuring contract compliance. Requires active Interim DoD Secret Clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 3+ years in project engineering or program management. On-site in Boulder, CO, 5 days per week. Salary range $115,000–$135,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Active Interim DoD Secret Clearance
- Active DoD Secret
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS or advanced degree in Business Administration or another relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering, program management, or finance roles
- Experience managing software development focused programs in the defense and aerospace fields
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle on government programs
- Experience with general Program Management tools such as MS Project and MS Office Suite
- Experience with personnel management of 10 or more individuals
- Excellent organization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Position is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week
- Candidate must also participate in a background screen
