Job Summary
Manage multiple teams delivering infrastructure and end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Serve as secondary customer point of contact while leading program management support including cost report development, contract management, CDRL generation, and monthly status reporting. Drive program startup support to establish team infrastructure and ensure compliance, while managing personnel for 10+ individuals and overseeing dependencies and risks. Position is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week. Requires active Interim DoD Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship. Salary range is $115,000–$135,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Active Interim DoD Secret Clearance
- Active DoD Secret
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS or advanced degree in Business Administration or another relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering, program management, or finance roles
- Experience managing software development focused programs in the defense and aerospace fields
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle on government programs
- Experience with general Program Management tools such as MS Project and MS Office Suite
- Experience with personnel management of 10 or more individuals
- Excellent organization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Position is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week
- Candidate must also participate in a background screen
