Jr. Product Engineer

Job Summary
Jr. Product Engineer (R&D) supports research, development, testing, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes. Works with cross-functional teams to assist in product design, prototyping, validation, and continuous improvement while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include assisting in development and improvement of products, supporting design, testing, validation, and documentation, preparing technical drawings and reports, participating in prototype builds and design verification, analyzing performance data to drive improvements, supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions, processing engineering change orders and document control, maintaining development records, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams. Preferred skills include CAD proficiency, Lean manufacturing knowledge, testing/validation processes, and strong communication in English and Spanish. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and 0–3 years of experience, with a team-oriented, detail-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field required
- 0–3 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or research & development preferred
- Knowledge of engineering principles, product development processes, and manufacturing practices
- Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing interpretation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
