Job Summary
Looking for a Jr. Network Specialist to provide deskside support and technical project assistance for a school district. Responsibilities include resolving tickets involving Active Directory issues, network connectivity, and hardware troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years in an IT support role
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software incidents
- Experience with Active Directory, resetting passwords and managing user accounts
- Basic network understanding; troubleshooting wifi connectivity, understanding of fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN
- Strong recent experience with queue management, working with a ticketing system
- Strong communication, eagerness to learn, and customer service skills
- Owns a car and has a driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a genius bar, geek squad, etc.
- Experience working in the educational/instructional field or working in IT at their college
- Strong recent experience using ServiceNow as a ticketing system
