Jr. Network Engineer

Provide technical support to Network Administrators and System Administrators, monitor and maintain the current infrastructure, improve system performance, and automate system administration. Conduct Computer Network Defense Operations, plan and install network upgrades, network design, and perform quality assurance and control. Provide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture while developing algorithms for research and development involving traditional circuit switched networks, data networks, and wireless systems. This Level 1 Network Engineer role is based in the Fort Meade, MD vicinity, with location subject to change based on central MD client needs. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Network Engineering, three or one year of relevant experience respectively, and hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required.
