Job Summary
National Accounts Manager role focused on developing new business and growing relationships within the construction and private utility locating sector. Responsible for creating and executing sales plans, coordinating team action plans to penetrate and expand markets, preparing proposals and RFP responses, coaching and guiding Business Development Managers, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Requires travel up to 50% and strong sales, leadership, and communication skills, with familiarity in Salesforce and standard office tools. The position supports Blood Hound’s suite of private utility locating and subsurface utility engineering services and involves liaison between the company and customers to ensure pricing and service alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in sales and/or sales management preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships
- Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
