Job Summary
Prepare media, reagents, and samples for microbiological testing while performing aseptic techniques for sample handling and inoculation. Conduct standard microbiological tests including BET, Bioburden, MLT, Sterility, and Environment monitoring. Perform daily calibrations and media preparations, assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies, and participate in equipment calibration and maintenance schedules. Report any deviations or anomalies to senior microbiologists and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures. This entry-level role supports the microbiology team in ensuring accurate and timely testing results for ALS Testing Services India Private Limited.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field
- Basic understanding of microbiological principles and laboratory techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa
Desired Qualifications
- Prior laboratory experience (academic or industrial)
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards
