Jr Level Security Specialist

Junior Security Specialists provide daily support to the Special Security Representative (SSR) or Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) to implement and comply with enhanced security policies and procedures. Responsibilities include managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP), performing visitor control duties, monitoring access to secured areas, maintaining visitor logs, processing visit documentation, supporting document control, personnel access requests, and the classification and handling of sensitive information. The role requires knowledge of DoD and IC security policies, expertise in maintaining security databases, and ability to perform physical security inspections and manage facility security systems.
