Job Summary
Clean and sterilize laboratory workspace and equipment, manage lab-specific waste, and maintain proper records while adhering to GLP, GMP, and ISO regulations. Perform assigned projects and duties under ARL leadership, ensuring compliance with all workplace policies and health and safety protocols. Accurately enter data, process samples, and learn LIMS systems to support timely testing and reporting in a fast-paced environment. Work five days a week with weekend availability, drive ARL vehicles, and wear required PPE. Join a team focused on microbiological and chemical testing for food, cosmetics, and dietary supplements.
Required Qualifications
- Able to converse fluently in English, verbally and in writing
- Be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Available to work 5 days a week, if required
- Available to work weekends
- Abide by ARL's drug testing, background check, and drug-free policies
- Follow work schedule and attendance/time off requirements
- Able to handle fast-paced, high-pressured work demands with confidence and professionalism
- Be able to comply with all processing protocols and follow directions accurately
- Be able to work productively and efficiently in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be willing to work unpredictable hours, whenever necessary
- Be able to drive ARL vehicles for job duties (must have valid driver's license and good driving record)
- Be able to pass drug testing and background check
- Be able to execute and demonstrate ARL's values
- Be able to understand and use general mathematics
- Be able to organize and pay attention to detail
- Be willing to wear personal protective equipment provided and required by ARL
- Completed high school diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Life Science, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry or related background and laboratory experience preferred
- Be technologically savvy
- Be able to learn LIMS systems and protocols rapidly
- Be able to accurately enter data and process samples accurately
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Follow established and proper procedure for conflict resolution
- Demonstrate success in being a team player
- Able to communicate proficiently verbally and in writing in English
- Be able to carry objects up to 50 lbs
- Be able to communicate in English fluently and proficiently, in writing and orally
- Be able to work in a high pressured environment where time is of the essence
- Able to work collaboratively with team members across departments
