Job Summary
Image and setup PCs for users, install software, and configure hardware in office environments. Troubleshoot system problems and complete repairs efficiently, providing temporary workarounds if initial fixes fail. Use remote assistant tools to diagnose issues and resolve requests remotely whenever possible. Track inventory distribution and process aged-out equipment for excessing. Monitor PC vulnerabilities and missing updates, then distribute repaired PCs to new users while demonstrating proper use. Partner with team members to communicate solutions and contribute to the knowledge base through research and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field
- US Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- Windows use and troubleshooting skills
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Dell Laptop troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a team environment
- Ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to establish and document procedures
- Less than 5% travel
- Drug Screen
- Physical Assessment (if applicable)
- Background Check (Criminal, Civil, Educational, Previous Employment, etc.)
- Driver Record Screen
