Job Summary
Jr. IT Engineer – MES role focused on MES process design and implementation for battery manufacturing, overseeing production system and production support, training production line personnel on MES and IT tools, on-site installation and troubleshooting, 24/7 production system support on the shop floor, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure IT systems integrate with manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include MES process design, system implementation, production monitoring, on-site support, training, proactive troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, on-site reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Skills and qualifications include a BS in a relevant field, experience with Oracle/SQL Server, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication, regulatory knowledge, ability to travel up to 10%, and preferred experience in manufacturing IT with .NET/C#/JAVA, ERP/SAP familiarity, PLC/HSMS/TIB interfaces, and Korean language proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in database management, specifically in Oracle/SQL Server environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Solid understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
- Capability to lift and carry weights of up to 45lb without assisted equipment
- Travel up to 10% and willingness to travel to different job-sites as needed
