Job Summary
Jr. Escrow Officer / Office Administrator in Billings, MT, responsible for managing escrow files from receipt to completion, including construction escrow accounts and basic commercial/residential accounts. Supports curative matters and title exceptions, may have authority to waive exceptions, and ensures smooth closings through all stages of the transaction with extensive phone and in-person interactions. Requires four years of relevant escrow-related experience, High School diploma or equivalent, and MT producer license and Notary within 90 days (notary and producer license if applicable). Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong sales/marketing and customer-service orientation. Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to learn new programs; duties include clerical tasks, billing/invoicing support, records management, and collaboration with escrow staff. Reports to VP/County Manager. Travel may be required for client meetings, closings, and training. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Four years’ experience in Escrow Officer, Escrow Assistant, or related roles
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have producer license or ability to obtain within 90 days (MT only)
- Must have a Notary or be able to obtain within 90 days
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Google Suite or related software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for business purposes
