Job Summary
Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interiors, windows, and door jambs while vacuuming to remove dirt and debris. Inspect cars for defects like dents, scratches, and stains, then report findings as needed. Operate detailing tools and chemicals safely to maintain cleanliness and appearance standards, ensuring all completed vehicles meet dealership-ready expectations before delivery. Support overall shop organization by maintaining wash bays and assisting team members to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
- Strong knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment with high turnaround demands
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Full-time availability, including weekends if needed
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience detailing vehicles in a dealership or high-volume reconditioning shop
- Familiarity with a paint correction, buffing, or ceramic coating applications
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manager multiple vehicles per day
