Job Summary
Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interiors, and windows, vacuum to remove debris, and inspect for defects like dents or scratches. Utilize detailing chemicals and special-purpose cleaners to maintain appearance standards while operating tools safely. Support shop cleanliness by maintaining wash bays and work areas, and follow safety procedures to report concerns immediately. Ensure completed vehicles meet dealership-ready expectations before delivery. Work efficiently to meet production schedules and assist team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
- Strong knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment with high turnaround demands
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Full-time availability, including weekends if needed
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience detailing vehicles in a dealership or high-volume reconditioning shop
- Familiarity with a paint correction, buffing, or ceramic coating applications
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manager multiple vehicles per day
