Job Summary
Junior Data Analyst to support analytics and reporting needs by writing SQL queries, developing SSRS reports, and handling ad hoc data requests. Will work with Senior Analytics Engineer and IT leadership to reduce reporting backlog and accelerate insights. Responsibilities include writing and optimizing SQL queries, developing and maintaining SSRS reports, fulfilling ad hoc data requests, troubleshooting and correcting issues in reports and datasets, assisting with data validation and reconciliation, documenting report logic and data sources, supporting report migrations or modernization initiatives, and collaborating with IT and business users to clarify reporting requirements. 1-3 years of relevant experience; strong SQL skills; MS SQL Server (SSMS); SSRS experience; understanding of relational database design; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a data, reporting, or analyst role
- Strong foundational SQL skills (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, subqueries, basic indexing concepts)
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (SSMS)
- Experience building or modifying SSRS reports
- Understanding of relational database design
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
