Job Summary
Customize and create application solutions for federal clients by supporting SMEs across Business Intelligence, Oracle databases, Windows Server environments, and AWS Cloud platforms. Execute cyber activities including penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, continuous monitoring, risk management, patching, incident response, and digital forensics. Collaborate with senior technicians and vendor tech support to research problem-solving strategies while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail. This Junior Cyber Security Associate role requires a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, offering a path to earn certifications post-training within a team environment focused on IT-related solutions and program management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Clearance or higher
- One year plus Information Technology related experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree in relevant field
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Penetration Testing
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Vulnerability Assessment
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Continuous Monitoring
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Risk Management Framework
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Patching
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Incident Response
- Conceptual understanding and introductory practical application of Digital Forensics
- Clear understanding of relational database concepts
- Familiarity with application development and usage
