Job Summary
The Jr Category Manager for Indirect Spend is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance financial and operational performance from the indirect spend portfolio. Key responsibilities include analyzing global indirect spend data, leading supplier selection and performance management, negotiating and managing contracts, and identifying and mitigating risks within the supply base. The role requires strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills, with proven experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing. Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field/experience
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing or category management with a focus on indirect categories
Desired Qualifications
- Fluent in English & French (preferred not mandatory)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
