Job Summary
Monitor and adjust building equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, including HVAC systems, life safety systems, and building automation. Execute preventative maintenance on all building and HVAC equipment, perform water treatment programs, and handle small plumbing repairs. Respond timely to tenant requests logged through 310-MAXX, liaise with service providers, and review contracted work for safety and compliance. Develop energy priorities for building systems to align with sustainability objectives while managing daily energy consumption. Work 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday with flexibility for on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and/or experience in operating HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, BAS, FAS and Life Safety Systems in a Class A office/retail complex
- Able to work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm (with flexibility to be on-call when required)
- Must be able to lift 25lb
- Must be able to climb and safely use ladders
- Good communication skills
- Must be a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Enrolled and/or Building Environmental Systems (BES) Certification Class I & II, BOMI SMT or SMA is preferred
- Skills in blueprint reading, as applied to technical areas
- Exceptional skills in communication, organization, customer service, interpersonal and time management
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
