Job Summary
Jr Asst Food Beverage Manager aboard Princess Cruises responsible for beverage excellence, service recovery, technology utilization with MedallionClass, and operational oversight of onboard beverage service. Responsible for inventory/stock management, revenue opportunities, special event coordination (e.g., Champagne Waterfall, Chef’s Table), system accuracy in Crunchtime, crew Cambusa sales, sales monitoring of beverage packages, and training/systems support. Supports staffing and scheduling across all beverage venues, maintains high standards of venue setup and ambiance, and collaborates with Bar Manager on financial performance and guest experience. Requires 1+ year of F&B leadership experience in high-volume environments, strong customer service and problem-solving abilities, fluent English, and proficiency with MS Office and F&B management software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of proven experience as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or in similar roles in high-volume F&B operations (Hotel/Hospitality related fields or Cruise Industry)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Fluent English Language Skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills involve using MS Office programs
- Preferably a graduate of a recognized hotel/catering/culinary school
