Job Summary
Jr Analyst/Programmer role focused on designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom software solutions under guidance from senior developers and IT management. Responsibilities include maintaining and supporting multiple systems (ERPs, e-commerce sites, databases), developing solutions per senior team instructions, identifying resources needed to implement solutions, working independently to fulfill duties, acting as an escalation point during outages, and evaluating business processes with non-technical staff to propose improvements that positively impact the company. The position requires experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, indexing), object-oriented languages (C#, X++), and knowledge of the software development life cycle, plus strong communication and collaboration with clients, management, and sales teams. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft SQL Server administration, Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, understanding business data, and proficiency with reporting/KPI tools such as Power BI and SSRS. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent field
- or an associate’s in information technology with 2 (two) or more years of related experience
- or 5 (five) or more years of experience in a software related role
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL server: querying, stored procedures, index creation/maintenance
- Familiar with object-oriented programming languages (C#, X++ or related) and an understanding of software development life cycles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with clients, senior management, sales reps, etc.
