Job Summary
Jr. Acquisition Specialist needed to support pre-award, award/selection, and post-award activities for multiple offices in federal acquisition. Responsibilities include creating and advising on SOWs & SOOs, acquisition strategy, cost estimates, market research and surveys, quality assurance plans, RFPs/RFQs, source selection, and other pre-award documentation; provide contract award support, contract administration, contract modifications, delivery/task order support, invoicing, and closeouts; collaborate with Contracting Officers and technical offices across various phases of the acquisition lifecycle. Requires a Bachelor's or equivalent 4 years of relevant experience; minimum 2 years of experience with GSA Schedule and GWACs; DAWIA Level II or FAC-C Level II preferred. Strong analytical skills for price/product data, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School degree with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience with GSA Schedule and GWAC's
- DAWIA Level II or FAC-C certification of Level II or equivalent within the last 4 years (preferred)
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing product and price data for contract negotiations and vendor terms
- Experience in contracting: negotiating, awarding contracts, contract modifications, and/or subcontracts
- Experience in supplies and service contracts; experience in formal source selections and research and development desired
- Strong communication with high volume and variety of people daily
