Job Summary
Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain accurate accounting records, assist with accruals and prepaids, and prepare schedules to support the accounting team. Ensure compliance with internal policies while collaborating with departments for financial information and supporting audit requests. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail. Available for full-time on-site work in Guadalajara's Midtown office. The candidate will thrive in a deadline-driven environment with multicultural exposure to teams in Mexico and the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work full-time on-site at our Midtown office
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, including experience gained while attending university (internships, accounting firms, tax firms, or similar) and/or up to one year of professional experience after graduation
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience performing general accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Professional English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, high energy, and eagerness to learn
