Job Summary
Relationship Manager role in JPMorgan Chase's Private Client group focused on building and maintaining high-net-worth client relationships across banking, lending, and investments. Responsibilities include developing and managing client relationships, conducting in-person calls at clients' places of business, building referral networks, collaborating with internal lines of business, ensuring holistic goals-based planning, and strict adherence to risk and regulatory policies. Key skills include deep knowledge of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts; proven ability to deepen relationships across product lines; strong client service mindset; and ability to navigate licensing and regulatory requirements (Series 7/66 or equivalents, NMLS registration). The position is located in Los Angeles, CA and reports to the Consumer & Community Banking organization, with emphasis on delivering targeted financial solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of financial services or service sales experience
- Established high net worth referral network and strong community presence
- Proven trusted relationship builder with a track record of delivering an exceptional client experience
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth by focusing on deepening relationship across multiple product lines
- Demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Required Licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) with eligibility to obtain licenses within 150 days of start date
- Preferred: A bachelor’s degree
- NMLS registration or requirement to register under SAFE Act (as part of employment)
