Job Summary
Joybird Design Sales Associate in a part-time showroom role focused on driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, daily sales reporting, supervising in the absence of management, maintaining showroom visual standards, growing a personal client base through follow-up and outreach, supporting leadership with programs and initiatives, and collaborating with product/marketing/technology teams to address customer needs. The role emphasizes sales generation, customer service, and maintaining financial performance for the store, with opportunities to mentor others and work in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Knowledge of furniture industry a plus
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative or team setting
- Proficiency in Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership and communication skills both written and verbal
- As a Key Holder you exhibit an aptitude for managerial responsibilities
